The Organisation requires the services of a qualified individual within its Johannesburg Regional Office for the following position:

Main Purpose of Role: Responsible to provide end to end HR generalist support services which includes recruitment & selection, employee relations, Performance Management, organizational development & HR administration to the RAF's regional office. Key Performance Areas: Recruitment and Selection· Coordinate and ensure the smooth processing of requests to fill vacancies received from the business· Notify the Recruitment & Selection team about the existence of vacancies to be advertised· Represent Human Resources at interviews, where necessary· Ensure that the required appointment documents have been completed · Co-ordinate the status of vacancies by reporting on weekly vacancy status
Employee Relations· Monitor the implementation of the disciplinary and grievance procedures to ensure compliance and to ensure consistency· Provide information, advice and guidance to employees and management regarding labour relations issues. E.g. LRA, BCEA, EEA etc.· Consult with Employee Relations on relevant matters· Liaise with Management and employees regarding grievances· Remain updated on labour relations issues
Performance Management· Provide technical support as an administrator on the performance management system on ESS· Assist line managers and employees in compiling of performance contracts and reviews· Monitor the adherence and compliance to the performance management policy· Coordinate and administer the Staff Recognition system
Organisational Development· Advise Management and employees on grading queries in consultation with OD· Advise and assist management with staff related Job Profiling issues· Assist management in compiling ensuring that job profiles, employee specifications and organograms are kept up to date· Advise management on HC policy implementation and employees on the adherence to policies· Confirm the budgeted Regional headcount on a quarterly basis
Administration· Interpret and provide guidance on Conditions of Service, Pension Fund, Medical Aid Rules and UIF· Conduct investigations into personnel related matters· Liaise with Head Office on personnel related matters· Compile monthly Human Capital reports
People Management· Manage Discipline in the Section· Manage Performance Management and Incentive Schemes· Ensure adequate training and re-training of staff· Recommend leave for all direct subordinates to the manager· Ensure Annual Leave Plans for all staff are in place Qualifications and Experience· NQF 7 (Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma) related qualification in HR/Industrial Psychology· Honours Degree in HR/Industrial Psychology advantageous· Relevant 5 – 7 years' experience as an HR Generalist of which 2 (two) years must have been on manager/supervisory level Behavioural and technical competencies required· Strategic capability and leadership· Result Orientation· Business and financial acumen· Brand and stakeholder orientation· Organisational resilience· Communication· Team resilience· Network and alliances· Talent management· Change management· HR Policies, Procedures and Practices· SAP HCM· Microsoft office suite· Knowledge of the LRA, BCEA, EEA and related HR Legislation
Remuneration Total cost to company of the minimum remuneration package applicable to this position is R668 907.00 per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience
