Background
The Road Accident Fund (RAF) plays an essential role in South African society by providing appropriate cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa, rehabilitating and compensating persons injured because of motor vehicle accidents to help them rebuild their lives. This brings about a socio-economic balance by contributing to the well-being of communities and society in general, thus ensuring social accountability and making a positive impact on society. As a proud and responsible corporate citizen, the RAF’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes seek to enforce a sustainable contribution and meaningful participation for all designated vulnerable groups to support the RAF’s mandate by executing its primary responsibility of alleviating the suffering of those affected by negligent driving on our roads.
CSR Approach
