The Road Accident Fund's mission is to provide cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa, to rehabilitate and compensate persons injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents in a timely and caring manner, and to actively promote safe use of our roads.

Location: Cape Town

Purpose for the job: To liaise directly with claimants, to assist them with the origination of claims and to liaise with stake holders to improve the RAF brand.

Key Performance Areas                                              

  • Provide Client interface of the Fund.
  • Representation and promotion of RAF values professionalism.
  • Originations of claims excellent ability to interface with claimants in order to promote

         understanding of first consultation letter and require thereof.
  • To promote the origination of direct claims with the Fund.
  • Document administration (maintain records of all documents received /archiving).
  • Duplicate checks of claims.
  • Liason / information given to claimants regarding represented matters / progress of

         claim,   settlement of claim and further advice.
  • Stake holder relations management (internal & external / DOT,DOH,SAPS)
  • Liason between Direct claims and Claimants, updates ,outstanding information ,offers

         of settlement.
  • Ad hoc duties / general office administration.
  • Public awareness initiative (assistance with the initiation of funeral parlour claims/ mass

         Accidents). 

     Qualifications & Experience
  • Appropriate B Degree or Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 or equivalent.
  • Relevant 3 years' experience in the claims environment or Customer service related

         work experience.

    Remuneration
    Total cost to company applicable to this position is a minimum of R349 998.00 per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience. 

     NB: "RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no additional contributions from the Employer, successful candidates are required to structure their packages in a manner that will suit their needs".
